It was a straight line from the third bird to the worship hall, and the austere atmosphere of the mountain was nice.

Although there is only a small shrine after passing through a simple wooden torii gate, one can strongly feel the source of Shintoism and nature worship.

It would be a shame to come to Kirishima Jingu Shrine and not visit this shrine. Despite the liveliness of the main shrine, it was very quiet, and I felt the strong faith of the local people.

It was very pleasant to walk along the approach to the main shrine surrounded by trees in the deep mountains. The architectural decorations are also worth seeing because of their beautiful colors. Although there are many worshippers, it does not feel crowded and you can take your time to visit the shrine. Personally, I spent far more time at the Yama shrine than at the main shrine, and I would like to visit again.
